New Midlands area events or not?

Hi all,
Taken from the Northern Areas post. Please post with any ideas.
"I think this is a great idea, this would fit in with my thinking too, I think we could do with a midland area as well , grafham, Rutland, draycote, oxford, Carsington, pitsfords, any handicap w/l event 100 miles of Birmingham, with the cost of petrol this would give better fleet racing for people like myself.
I also like the idea of club focus days, two days ayear where all the musto would turn up for some fun sailing at normal club racing, racing and help for any new or visiting Musto?
The only problem may be less people going to the main opens but they are missing anyway unless they are the hardcore open type at the moment.
I will do the results if rick gives me access to the web, you make up the rules, 2 jan for Grafham, 28 Jan northampton sail juice, 4-5 feb Rutland tiger, Chew vally 25/26 feb, and so on.
