Hi Guys

I currently sail an I14, i'm finding it very hard to get a crew and the idea of a single handed skiff is great. i did have a sail of one over the 2007/2008 summer holidays and i'm looking to purchase a boat for my self. i was able to pick up the basics of sailing the musto after having skippered the I14. in there anyone in melbourne with a 2nd hand boat up for sale or know of somewhere i could get my hand on one? I sail out of Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron and as the musto worlds are coiming to Black rock in summer 2009/2010 it would be great be able to get a boat soon as possible to get upto a competitive level.

Thanks, looking forward from hearing from you.

Rob

Hey Rob -

I assume you've met Richard Ekberg - we're sailing Mustos out of Black Rock and Sandy at the moment - the next get together is the Aquafest at Safety Beach on the 9th and 10th of January - drop by as you're close by at Blairgowrie. I think there will be 2 or 3 boats down the peninsula next year - so if you pick one up you'll have company. We should have 5 or 6 boats at the event.

I don't know if there are any 2nd hand boats on the market - but all the boats are less than 12 months old - there are 3 new boats available in the country at the moment - 1 in Queensland and 2 from a recent container arrival in Melbourne. I'd be happy to talk about turning my boat over if you're still interested in a Musto...

Jason Beebe has the oldest boat in the country - but I don't know if he is interested in selling or not...

Happy to have a chat if you want to talk about the boats - Tim 0407 319 007 -

Cheers

Tim.
