INNOVATION IN THE MUSTO DINGHY RANGE

Class title sponsor and leading Performance Clothing brand Musto has included some exciting new
developments to its Dinghy Range for 2011. Developed in consultation with the British national sailing
team, Skandia Team GBR, the range is ideal for sailors who expect high performance clothing as well as
comfort.

The new extremely lightweight Performance Dinghy Smock uses a soft water/windproof, breathable
fabric with a 4-way stretch to allow maximum freedom of movement in all directions. Providing maximum
comfort during extended periods on the water, the smock ensures the sailor remains warm and dry.
Developed in conjunction with key Skandia Team GBR sailors, the smock allows the sailor the comfortable
lightweight protection that they need, leaving them to concentrate on their performance.

For chillier climates, the Technical Rash Vest has greater heat retention than traditional rash vests
through the use of a low absorbency brushed back inner. The durable water repellent coating encourages
water to bead and run off to prevent water being absorbed into the material which maintains breathability.

A new addition to the collection, the Long John Wetsuit has been developed following much feedback
from sailors, offering improved comfort and optimum heat retention. A new ultra-stretchy neoprene has
been panelled to allow ease of access for the wearer and also improved fit and comfort whilst wearing the
wetsuit. Using 2.5mm neoprene where protection and insulating is needed and 1.5mm neoprene in areas
requiring better manoeuvrability and reduced heat retention, the wetsuit also has a titanium layer to
improve body temperature regulation. Anti-abrasive material has been used on the seat, knee and shins to
provide extra durability and longevity. Further improvements to provide an optimum fit include prestitched
bar-tacks in the legs for easy trimming and flat lock seaming to reduce chaffing for the wearer.

The redesigned Musto Hikers are the result of feedback from competitive sailors who require
comfortable, close fitting hikers. Constructed using panels of 2mm and 3mm neoprene, the hikers feature a
movable stiff baton patch offering maximum support when hiking out for extended periods. The anti
abrasive seat covering provides extra durability for product longevity whilst cross shoulder straps and a low
cut front guarantee top-level functionality at all times.
