The last important sail racing event,
happend to be last weekend. This of course had all the
intentions in it to make a good and interesting race.
There were 6 competitors who had possibilities to win
the Eurocup, 4 of them were present including Roger(sui
309), Iver(ger370) Nicolas(sui109) and me(ned076).
Saterday was a day of a good breeze,
8 to 15 knots, this meant Roger, Iver and me were going
to determine the wins of that day, after 5 races the
standings were:
1 Roger Oswald 9 points
2 Paul Dijkstra 10 points
3 Ivar Allman 11 Points
Race no 6 was called off due to big windshifts.
Sunday started off foggy, the first couple
of races were in very light conditions, after that the
wind started to shift and gave some more power. This
day was a good day for Roger, he sailed the best overall.
After another 5 extremely tight racing and good moves
it was perfect for the spectators.
The breeze started to lay down a bit and Nicolas was
the one getting the best out of that. Roger won 4, Ivar
3 and me also 3 races. It was a great event with a lot
of competitive and spectacular racing!
