The date of our
"Performance Cup" is approaching
Dear MPS sailors !
The date of our "Performance Cup"
is approaching and with this also the Entry date closing
on August 31st (late entries will be accepted, but with
additional fee).
As you probably know, Portoroz (Slovenija) is the host
of next year's MPS European Championship, so this will
be also a test regatta for all of us: sailors, race
committee, race management and all involved.
We are enjoying wonderful summer and temperatures
of around 25-28°C.

and the entry list of all classes in the next days.
On the list are already English, Italians, Austrians
and some Swiss and of course Slovenian! We also expect
a good Moth and A-class representation, so please invite
your friends from these classes to join in for easier
and cheaper travelling.
Important:
For UK sailors, return flights to Trieste (one of the
closest airports) are as cheap as 43 GBP !!!

We will do our best to pick you at the airport if coming
in groups.
We are also preparing 6-day accommodation
packages (B&B) for 200 EUR (first come, first serve
basis: andrej@maestral.si),
otherwise, accommodation at reasonable prices include
apartments (4prs) from approx. 80 EUR/day, hotel rooms
from 40-60 EUR/day (see contacts in NoR).
We are looking forward to welcoming you
in Slovenija in a few weeks.
