5 races, first national championship by Pablo Arandia
Last season was a good one for spanish sailors. New
sailors came, some gone, but we achieved
some magic numbers as 5 races a year and or first true
national championship, with the approval of the
Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.
Almost every race was done on Balearic islands, where
we have our biggest and most active fleet.
Our challenge is a fleet spread all over the country,
which makes difficult to do Big races. However we
managed to do 5 boat trough the year and 7 boats was
our best. We tried to join other classes in order
to get seen by as much sailors as we can.

We have a very busy season ready to start.
2008 NOV-DEC: training at Denia + Regata
at Alicante( Semana Náutica de Alicante, 6-8
DEC)
2009 PLANS
5 races at Balearic islands, including
National Chamionships on 13-19 JUL, organized by Club
Nautico S´Arenal( 10 ESP boats expected)
Deniavela, in Real Club Nautico Denia 1 to 3 MAY( 5
to 10 ESP boats expected)
Training at Princess Sofia Trophy, joining 49er class
on Palma´s beach. ( 5 to 10 ESP boats expected)
We would like to invite anyone to join us at this events.
We can arrange a coach to be at the training on
Princess Sofia Trophy
if we get enough boats( around 10), so please drop us
