 The
Dinghy Sailing Show 2008 will be Saturday 1st and Sunday
2nd March at Alexandra Palace
Organised by the RYA in association with
Yachts and Yachting and Suzuki all sailors are welcome,
even if you don’t yet own a skiff.
The Musto Performance Skiff will be displayed
on our regular stand D1.
The boat on show is GBR 305, owned by
Daniel Henderson. Daniel joined the class from the highly
competitive 29er RYA youth squad, and has quickly found
his way to the front of the fleet, achieving 2nd at
the UK Nationals 2007.
Lead by Ant Chapman, it is good to see
so many younger sailors joining our class including
Tom Wright and Bruce Spratt who both sailed against
Daniel at the recent Excel London International Boat
Show.
The class will be showing the excellent
“K16 Take control” DVD from Richard and Kit Stenhouse.
Copies will be available for purchase from the Ovington
stand.
It’s also a great opportunity to get that
last minute sailing gear you have forgotten. Don’t forget
ISAF will have launched the latest copy of the racing
rules.
