S10 GPS data

As I am sure you all know Velocitek have
come on board at the title sponsor of the Musto Skiff
World Championships.
The product is shown below and shows speed
& VMG whilst sailing; but that is just half the
story as the data can be analysed after to give a new
view into what happened on the race course.
Here
is a replay of Race 5 at Rutland showing me and the
2nd place boat battling it out ...

You can
buy a Velocitek unit from Ovington Boats >>>
In order to do this there is
a small amount of "geekery" required (but
it's all easy)
1) You need to load the software onto
your PC to connevt the S10 to your PC
2) You need to load the Velocitek software that converts
the S10 data to Google Earth and GPSar files
3) You need to install the Java Run Time Software (only
if you want to run GPSar
4) You need to download the GPSar software
