 Great
Kit and Gerber step on board as title sponsor the European/
UK Nationals next week.
The Musto Performance Skiff Class Association
and Ovington Boats are delighted to announce that Great
Kit and Gerber have stepped on board to be title sponsors
for next weeks Europeans/UK Nationals to be held at
Paignton Sailing Club.
Paul Clarke the MPS class chairman said
"The MPS is a leading edge class with a great class
sponsor in Musto and to have companies such as Great
Kit and Gerber take the title sponsorship for next weeks
event is great news, thanks to all at Great Kit and
Gerber"
Next weeks event looks to be a great one
with two days of training being run by pro coach Mark
Rushall which has been structured to have specific training
sessions for the various standard of sailor.
After the training the event will span
four days with a target of completing 12 races. The
class recently held it's Gold Cup in Denia Spain which
was won narrowly by Richard Stenhouse from Ian Trotter
with Pablo Arandia in 3rd. Next weeks event looks set
to be a corker.
Finally Paul Manning from Ovington Boats
said "The class has always been well supported
by Hyde, Harken and Musto through the season and to
have a high profile event sponsor like Great Kit and
Gerber is fantastic. This year we will be running a
buddy system and Silver fleet and it is our intention
to focus our impressive prizes on the developing sailors;
we will also offer a few spot prizes for best wipe out
etc ... so everyone is in with a chance of winning a
fantastic prize."
