UK Dinghy
Exhibition - 6-7th March 2005
Once
again the Dinghy Show was a great opportunity for the
Musto Skiff Class Association members who staffed the
stand to spread the gospel according to the MPS. Thanks
to all those who took the time to stop by our stand
and give us the opportunity to tell you about a boat
and sport that gives us all so much pleasure.
The stand was busy with people of all
shapes and sizes visiting the stand showing a great
deal of interest in the boat. It was particularly good
to speak to so many visitors from overseas (Sweden,
Germany, Denmark, Croatia, Spain, France, Italy, Czechoslovakia
and Slovenia). The reputation of the class is spreading
around the globe and we hope some of those who took
the time to visit our stand will become class members.
The
stand was staffed by Paul Manning, Paul Clarke, Danny
Clark, Rick Perkins, Richard and Kit Stenhouse (unless
they were busy vouge'ing), Tim and Ant Chapman, Simon
Reynolds and Graeme Oliver.
We were also assisted by Mateo from the
Spanish fleet, that was particularly useful when a Spanish
visitor stepped up to the stand.
There was one Musto #1 shirt left over
in white which is being used for a prize in the Ovington Boats
