 Velocitek
GPS Bracket (Rick Perkins GBR293)
This mod has been developed to mount a
Velocitek GPS.
Note: In
the position shown below the kite sheet can catch, I
am now planning to attached it right near the front
of the boom where the watch is,
 Mode
Requires:
- Bit of Perspex
or
- Carbon & Epoxy
- Velcro strap
- Self adhesive progrip
Instructions:
Bend the Perspex around a bit of 77mm
diameter tube and then cut a slot for the velcro strap.
I put a bit of progrip on the inside the
grip the boom when the strap was tightened up.
 I
made the first version shown right as a test then once
I had confirmed it worked I have made the carbon version
which is much stronger.
The plastic one would probably break if
it got knocked..
