Watch out for stolen mainsail

Hi all.
I had a mainsail pinched two weeks ago from under the cover at Datchet.
If someone approaches you with an old style main (white zipper mast wrap) and in excellent condition, then please check for signs that it may be mine.
It had GBR444 on the sails; probably removed by now.
Also in the bag was a carbon tiller extension - Hi-tech sailing.
Cheers

This is very sad to read; I have posted this on Facebook.

Keep an eye out on eBay and Apollo Duck.

We know most owners so we should have a chance of catching this scum bag ...

As has been mentioned above, this is really very disappointing...

Note that ALL the mainsails and spinnakers have a unique serial number attached to them. I've never known anyone to record these but I would say it's worth noting as if you are offered a sail and this is missing, it might be worth thinking about...

Hi,
My mainsail has been found in the club grounds - hopefully still in the same condition I left it!
Still left with a destroyed wing and who knows what else to repair!
Anyway, bottom line.... sail is found.

Were they trying to steal the boat or what is going on with the boat damage?
