Hi All
I just spent some time coaching 49er’s in Palma and thought it might be good to share with everyone what a great place it looks like being for the 2017 Musto Worlds.
The local guys were so helpful and got me out on a spare boat and we had an awesome sail in 15 knots. Thanks Justo. The water is really clear and feels amazing to sail in. The local RO’s know when the wind is coming and don’t send you out to drift around. And when it is in, the breeze oscillates. So it shouldn’t be a lot of waiting around nor a one-way track.

The local guys I’m sure will be just as helpful when the Worlds are on.

Food was really cheap.
Accommodation options for everyone and pretty cheap. There’s nice hotels, villa’s, or cheap hostel type options near loads of night spots, so pretty much covers everyone.
Airport and Ferry are also really close.
There is lots to do around the island if you have time afterwards as well.

As you say Denis, it's a fantastic place to sail and loads of things to do for the family and great places to visit on days off.

He didn't even mention the proximity to Magaluf for night time entertainment
