I have just booked my flights to Verona with Easy Jet from Gatwick

Outbound 10 Sept at 10.15am
Return 20 Sept at 10.35am

Would be great to know if anyone else is planning or booked similar times to team up. I live 45 mins from Gatwick near Dartford so we could possibly travel together from mine saving on car parking costs and split taxi costs to and from Verona.

The better organised myself and any travel buddies are, the more cost effective we should be able to make it!

Another observation is that flights are close to fully booked - BA appears to only have one seat left on my preferred flight time so went for easy jet thinking others may book the same.

I'm in a similar situation however my flight are:

Outbound - Manchester to Bergamo arriving on the 10th September at 1700.
Return - Milan (Bergamo) to Manchester departing Bergamo at 07.35 20th September.


Any one out there on this flight or willing to share a car?

Is anyone flying out Friday 11th Afternoon or Saturday morning and looking to share a taxi (trying to decide on flights), most recent trip to Garda cost me 100 euros for a taxi from Verona airport to Malcesine, dread to think what one to Riva would cost.

I'm flying into Verona Villafranca on the Friday morning 11th (BA flight from Gatwick). I'd thought about a train north and then a taxi.

My wife and I are arriving at 13:15 on 10 September into Verona (Easyjet) from Gatwick.

and travelling back on 24 September leaving about 10:30am from Riva.

Does anyone have similar flights and want to share a taxi?

Get a taxi to the nearest place on the shore then get the ferry to Riva. Done that before can't remember the name of the town though.

Just looked at the map and I believe it was Peschiera we used to get to Verona airport; other towns at the south are better suited perhaps to other airports.

This is a really nice way to travel to Riva from the airport if you have the time.

If anyone is flying into Verona on Friday 11th (landing around midday) and returning on Sunday 20th who needs a lift then give me a shout.

We are flying out earlier but staying elsewhere so for a contribution we can swing past Verona on the way up to Riva.

On the 20th we will be leaving Riva to catch the 10:35 easyjet flight back to the UK.
