Eurocups

Postby John Archer » Sun Nov 05, 2017 4:05 pm

Eurocup events are usually attended only by sailors from the hosting country.
Eurocups atre an important part of the annual racing calendar and one of the main times that members benefit from Musto sponsorship.
Does this fit the intent of the series?
Should we have fewer, bigger events?
Other ideas and suggestions?

I like the idea of fewer but bigger events.
2018 is good for the smaller events because there is no worlds.

Let's try to focus on one big event in europe (LacDuDer, Kiel, Dongo or Brunnen) and one in england (uk nationals)!

Maybe some sort of qualification for hosting a EuroCup. By the numbers of boats from the last year event?
