Folks,
I have been working out in a variety of ways to build my endurance on the MPS. I think the best things I have done are related to Pilates. Working on core, flexibility and endurance have been critical to my ability to spend more and more time on the boat and increase my balance and confidence.
What other work out routines have people found helpful.
Regards,
John

I think we’d all aspire to be as fit as Serega, very few of us have the dedication to achieve anything like it through

I found single sculling (rowing) to be quite good, gives strength in legs, arms, back and core.
It is also most suitable on calm days in oppose to the Musto Skiff
You also get to be on the water, sometimes in the water...

Great idea. I use an ERG machine at the gym but 30 minutes to an hour of going nowhere is pretty dull.

That was only his warm up video. See this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8IuT3YkzM8
Cycling for me, but if I had more time I would combine it with rowing and swimming (intentional swimming, not the type you do by mistake when trying to sail a Musto).

Sounds reasonable, but layday on Sunday?
With that attitude to preparation it will be hard to compete in the Musto Skiff
