Mast Rake Measurment

Hi I was just wanting to ask if all mast rake settings on the tuning guide were measured to the lower rudder gudgeon.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I think I read of someone measuring the rake to the top of deck. I just wanted to check as it looks like I need to significantly increase my mast rake to get to the numbers around 7220 that are being quoted.

Cheers

Stewart

Hi Stewart

All the mast rake settings on the tuning guide are taken from the bottom edge of the transom.

Hi. If you use more mast rake than normal then some posts suggest that you put some exrta lenth on the kite uphaul by putting a stopper knot 4 cm from the kite head to keep the best kite shape?
I have got ask the question as now the fleet had got so good do sailors go back to 7290 when forcast 5knots all day?
If you can drive for 12 hours to get to light venue in Europe then would it be worth changing now day by days?
