Is there any news on what dates the 2016 nationals are going to be or roughly what month they are likely to be held in?

are there any accommodation option locally to the club? I take it it will be to cold to camp?

is August in Scotland still too cold, about as warm as its going to get surely :D

Yep, there are camping sites locally and it should be ok to camp.
Its not really that much colder here in August than it is on the south coast, camping is quite feasible.
On the other hand, the Derwent boys might remind me how cold it was between races at Chanonry last year ( beginning of August) but I think the front cooled everyone down that weekend, no matter where you were in the country.
