MUSTO SKIFF JANUARY TRAINING
VENUE: Rutland Sailing Club
DATE: 28-29th Jan 2012
COACH: Ian Turnbull
COST: approx £25 per person per day (depending on numbers)
An ideal opportunity to work off those mince pies and warm up for the 2012 season! Sailors from everywhere are welcome. The focus will be on boat handling and starting.
Boat storage between this training weekend and Tiger Trophy (4/5th Feb) can be arranged, no fee if booked in on Ians training
Please contact Ian on ianturnbullmarine@gmail.com or myself and I will pass it on to Ian, we still have spare spaces to start
the year off to a good start.
The wind was over the top Saturday looking at xcweather today 21st jan, the local weather station Wittering went between 21mph and 29 mph on average and some gusts as forecast 37mph, data (21-Jan 11:50 n/a 290° 28kts Few 4100 10 50° )looks like windguru and metweb were spot on. On the Rutland webcam a few feva zone squad went out but no sign of the 29er fleet training from the limited view of the cam, not many boats out?. we now look forward to some great training from Ian next weekend and for the pre worlds later on.
Please email Ian for the pre worlds training this year, same as he did last year for the nationals training at Mounts Bay.
