Ian has confirmed Rutland and text messages have been sent out, txt is the fastest way to respond if you are not on this forun, We have had text from Steve Tylecote, Endeavor winner and very quick sailor that he will be coming, good boat speed with height is the way to go,

The weather is still looking good, the water should still be warm ish and it would take some very cold weather to get any ice on the lake after 11c over xmas and new year eve, 10 dec at 2am in the morning in Birmingham today.
See you at Rutland
Chris

Hi
The official start would be a different time to the first people turning up, To gain the maximum for your time traveling up I would get down as soon as possible to help rig the boats, I got loads from this just helping people rig their boats, you also get some tips as well. Ian should post a time on here before the event.
Things you should walk away with is max on downhaul, max off downhall settings, position of pully in relation to boom, make a list to remind you what to look for.

The Stokes Bay training started at 10.30 am, It would be a full day and most will need to be at the club at 9 ish to get the boats ready, Ian is out of the uk and may not have internet access, we will post on Sunday.
Here is last years Stokes Bay training with Russ Clark, He has to confirm this year so here is a taster of Stokes bay 2012?

Stokes Bay 2011 post
Sat
1030-1115 Intro, Safety Brief and exercise briefing
1130-1330 Sailing session 1 (boat handling)
1130-1430 Lunch (Bring your own or from the Cafe next to the Club)
1430-1630 Sailing Session 2 (Starting, short course racing)
1700-1800 Debrief and Q&A
Sun
0930 Briefing
1015-1400 Sailing Session (Racing, speed work, boat handling)
1430 Lunch in Club and debrief
1600 Relax

Rutland line the boats up on the car park time. pre training
0945 to 1015 could be look at my boat set up like Sten and Kits boat, a run through how to rig, then you could have Ians take at some point Saturday and question any difference.
It will be dark about 1630 at Rutland so debrief would be about the same time but off the water for1600 Saturday.
