Chris,

I have emailed the club to ask about camping.

I did a school event there and we all camped but that was a good few years back and maybe some new safety regulation has come in!

All,

I have emailed the club and there is a security charge of £156 for camping!!!! However, if a club member camps it is free.

Jamie is willing to camp if there is demand (for a small drinks charge :D ) Therefore the question is how many people wish to camp? (Please post below).

Hi,
I will be camping and would appreciate being able to stay in club grounds (for a drink or two!), but I will find a space at a nearby camp site if it is too difficult to stay on site.

Just ask Jamie to do some flaming drambuies as a drink then he'll probably offer to stay sober and give you a lift home.

Ouch - that's fighting talk Gav

As for camping - if there's quite a few on the day who prefer to camp then i'll stick a tent up too to save the bizzarely hefty fee. If there's only a few then I'm sure between myself and Dave we can put people up in nearby Reading/Hammersmith.

p.s. For anyone concerned about water levels - the tide is fully in at the moment.

Spoke to Datchet earlier today- I haven't seen it in writing, but the plan was a 1300 start on Saturday and a 1030 start on Sunday.

I guess the briefing will be 1 hour before or similar.

Hope you have a great time - I can't make this one, but the forecast looks good especially for Sunday.
