Happened to him before?

I think he fell on it, not really sure as when he came in a was smacking the wheel of my trolley with a hammer, so I only picked up bits of it. Looked like it was broken in 3 though.

Dave is a legend ... and perhaps a little accident prone (he'd probably call it unlucky) ...

I might be around, we break up friday evening after a carol service in Peterborough, might stay up and come out Saturday/Sunday but I think my crew is going on Holiday to Africa on Sunday, bit of a nightmare, we have only been out for 30mins so far! Really need to find someone who will be reliable!

... or get a musto...

Knowing my luck I will buy a Musto, then I will have loads of offers to crew for me and the Musto won't get used. Still need to beg with my parents first... Gareth reckons it will be quite an easy switch from the 49er to the musto so I think I wilo go ahead with getting a Musto if possible!

Sell the 49er and get the Musto, then you'll be sorted ...

Maybe but not yet, I think I should give the 49er a good chance, afterall I have only been sailing it for a month and half so far, and not that often, so I think I should stick at it for a bit longer... You never know someone might pop up that wants to crew competitively :)

In the mean time, anyone want to sail with me this Saturday/Sunday or sometime during the next 4 weeks? (Or further if it works well and you want to continue)

Worth a try

I don't know whether this is the right place to ask! remember, people on this forum don't have crew problems! so they'll all be out sailing their mustos. :D

as you say, worth a try I suppose.

But maybe if they fancy something a bit faster for a change!

I have asked on the 49er class website too, and I'm going to put something up at the club I think.. Unless my crew suddenly has a change of heart and seems like he wants to take it seriously..
