Keen for a taste of a MPS

Postby zandercage2006 » Wed Mar 11, 2009 5:59 pm

Hi, I'm currently on holidays in the UK from Melbourne Australia and am quite keen to try out a MPS. However i have only ever done a couple of weekend club races as a crew on a 20ft keel boat. I'm wondering about the possibility of someone taking me out for a spin to get a taste of the MPS.

I have considered going to a trial day, but the problem is my lack of sailing skills to be able to control it by myself. After talking with the guys at the Volvo Dingy show they ensure me with some practice and great advise that the MPS can be a boat that can be picked up by a beginner such as myself.

I look forward to your replies.
