Second hand boat check list?

Hi,
Having received the MPS newsletter for a while now, and having waited long enough for the prices of second hand boats to fall - well at least a bit. I have decided to get an MPS - at some point. Although I'm not a regular sailor I don't really mind that it will take quite a while to get used to it, just as long as it keeps my grinning with excitement which I'm sure it will. I was wondering if there was a check list when having a look around at the boats. I know the boat is very well built but are then any weakness one has to look for or areas prone to wear?
Kieth at Dalgety has kindly emailed me photos for his boat up for sale . It's a bit of a trek and although the boat looks A1 for the sail number I wonderred if any might be coming up of sale in the south of the country at any point this year.
Thank you.
Dickie
