New USA-Canada Musto Facebook Page

Hi Folks, I'm now the official "MPS International Association Committee Member" for the US and Canada, which means I'm the contact person in NA for the class. As such, to see who's out there, I've set up a facebook group page. Please check it out and join! It will be a nice way to stay in ...

Re: Role Call for US and Canadian Boats

Just remembered that there is also a boat in the Toronto area. We seem to be rather widely scattered in NA.

Re: Role Call for US and Canadian Boats

I have a Musto Skiff. I'm in Shelburne, VT, just south of Burlington on Lake Champlain. I know there is another one on a small lake in New Hampshire.

Re: Difficulty raising and lowering main

Just discovered that the bolt rope at the head of the sail has been crushed to the point where it can partially come out of the track. Probably was hoisted or pulled down partially out at some point. Hopefully a repair here will fix this.

Difficulty raising and lowering main

Hello, I'm new to the Musto Skiff--just got it late fall. I'm close to the time when I will take the first sail, and I've set the boat up to make sure everything is working well. All is fine except that I discovered the main is very hard to raise and lower. I think I'm doing all the right things. Th...

Re: Trapeze wire/line length

Hi Mark,
What you posted is very useful. And yes, if you could post a couple of photos, I think that will answer my questions. Much appreciated!

Re: Trapeze wire/line length

Hi Rick, Yes, I've seen this. Thanks. But it doesn't tell me the range through which the wire (or spectra) is adjusted. In the Musto DVD, there's a segment showing a woman MPS sailor talking about adjusting the wire/spectra length. I'm trying to figure out how to build the wire/spectra so that I can...

Trapeze wire/line length

I'm putting new trapeze lines on my boat, and I'm not sure what I have now give me enough range of length. I'm setting it up with vectran or spectra that will give me a gross adjustment in addition to the purchase adjustment that is connected to the trapeze ring. I'd like to know what the range is, ...
